| I don't care how lousy the forecast is for the rest of the week, the sun and cool temps today are great!
My new vacuum arrived this morning and boy, I didn't realise how much the old one wasn't picking up, til I ran this one. Given the whole place a good going over. Dusted. Bath mats now in the washer, to be hung out in the sun later.
Its been a pleasure to have a window or two open for a while, just to get rid of any stale air and cooking odours. Between that, the essential oils on the burners earlier and the gorgeous scent from the hyacinths that are now in bloom, the house smells lovely!
Just need to think of something special for supper. Have a great one girls! _________________ Bloomin' Lovely Blog Pumpkins on the Vine |

| Housebug, you're an inspiration!
I slept later than planned (a lot later...) after being up half the ngiht dealing with attempted theft of our car, and have a busy day anyway today as I need to prepare tomorrow's work plus a one-off class I give in March each year is now tonight as someone else is ill so they asked if I could step in early, so I need to get tomorrow's work and this evening's work done by 5pm and no chance of working this evenign as I'll be giving a class...! I've been running round, sorting out mechanics and garages and soothing parents (their car... borrowed by me!), and fielding Other People's Problems and have just grabbed a rapid sandwich lunch and was about to charge in, flurried and flustered, and start sorting out these presentations... and then read your post.
Now, what I'm going to do is spend half an hour watering house-plants, folding laundry, talking to the cat and having a nice cool drink.
THEN I'm going to start the work on the presentations and I bet they make rather more sense than the original dash-and-hurry way!
Thanks!
Now where did I put that Napiers' "Study Blend" of essential oils of peppermint, basil, thyme, black pepper...

| Good gracious Laura! I hope your ok! A theft of your car! Good luck with the presentation.
"It's Raining Men", the original version, is on the radio. The sky has an ice blue and pinkish tinge and the sun has disappeared. As the old folks say, we're in for some weather. _________________ Bloomin' Lovely Blog Pumpkins on the Vine |

| Hurrah, the Cosy Domsticity approach to work has had a great effect - a phonecall BEFORE I started writing tonight's presentation to tell me the booked speaker is well again so I don't need to do it! ;-)
So now I only have one presentation on a familiar topic to familiar people tomorrow. Nice. ;-)
It is grey and a strong wind is blustering around, considering whether it can be bothered to become a full gale! I'll have that one presentation done by teatime and plan to spend the evening curled up in bed, stone pig (10-hour ceramic hot water bottle) by my feet, cat on my lap, watching some good tv, or reading, maybe after a nice long bath and extra-lovely body-lotion, some chocolate is already by my bedside, and I've got lovely baked potatoes planned for supper... mmm... yes, I love today too!
