| Sasha - Oh my goodness, how can we have yet another similarity! I never had acne as a teen - it didn't happen until about 3 years after my last baby was born and boy did it hit with a vengeance. I've finally gotten it cleared up except that I still get hormone related breakouts, thankfully small, which I can't do much about to prevent. I also have sensitive skin, especially around my nose which will burn and flare up red if anything is too harsh.
The thing that finally helped clear my skin up was a fine balance of non-acne products and AHA moisturizer. Right now I use Cetaphil for oily skin, which is very gentle, and then a blemish control moisturizer - either Garnier Nutritioniste or Oil of Olay products that are Anti-Aging, Anti-Blemish.
My scents? I've gone through many but I tend to stick with something rosey smelling. I just love Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker and Amazing Grace by Philosophy but haven't splurged on either of them yet. When my shampoo and body wash run out, I'm going to get a bottle of the Amazing Grace to try. |

| It's spooky huh?!! LOL. My sensitive area is also around my nose, chin and also under my eyes sometimes - yep, inflamed, red sore and itchy. My sister has suffered similar spot outbreaks at around the same sort of time as me too - and she also had perfect teenage skin. I think it must be a hormonal thing? I've never actually sought medical help for it though, but might if it gets worse.
I love the smell of Patchouli, and have seen that Tom Ford has done a range of scents, one of which is Patchouli and something, but I have yet to find them on sale here anywhere. I would love to try it, and so that is the scent I am 'coveting' at the moment, if I ever find it to try! |

| | For me the redness/irritation is a hereditary thing as my mom has the same exact thing around her nose. |

| Eczema does run in our whole family in one form or another, but no-one else seems to get it on their face, although all us girls (me, my sister and my Mum) are very sensitive to certain types/brands of make-up. I think myself lucky though, as it also tends to go hand in hand with Asthma, which my sister has badly, my brother had as a child, as does my daughter (though she seems to be growing out of it, please God) but I have never had it at all.
I find spicey food can sometimes make my skin flare up more - but being a chilli addict means it doesn't put me off I'm afraid! |

| | Yes I agree about the eczema going hand in hand with asthma a lot of times. My mother-in-law is allergic to half the stuff on God's green earth and has bad asthma. Sadly, our Sarah seems to have inherited at least the beginnings of her grandma's skin issues - she'll break out in hives from the least little touch, especially with strongly scented products like liquid fabric softeners. Sarah also has asthma too. Poor girl. |

| I have problem skin, too. I get red patches on my face, upper arms, and shoulder blades. Stress seems to make it flare up.
I want to lose 20 pounds myself. I had started an exercise regimine, but then fell ill last week & have neglected to jump back on board. I am not happy with the way I look currently!
I would really love a makeover! |

| | Tracy - I've noticed how easily I jump the exercise ship as well. Once I'm off, due to bad cramps, or just feeling under the weather, it takes me forever to get back at it. Probably because I don't like exercising! LOL |

| I have only been walking with any regularity but to plan to swim (or paddle....lol....it's been a few years since I've dared to wear a swimsuit in public....but I'm gonna do it fat and have fun as my body gets into shape!).
Gymns scare me silly and I'm much too self conscious to go to a gym yet. One day.....
Exercise isn't my first port of call when I plan my day but I am moving around with much more freedom now and even to walk without painful hips/knees/back etc. is a joy! I think we all seem to have that slight aversion to exercise....I'm in good company then.
