Instead

When I was little and she was younger , she had such amazing energies that I took for granted and didn't realize that is was used for doing all of the necessities that gobble up our time in a day. I wonder, what did she really want to be doing instead. There is always insteads, we all have insteads. Instead of doing the laundry and hanging it out on the line would she have rather been dancing?
After spending each day caring for the domestic duties and small offspring that would wear a grown man out would she rather be visiting with her friends, doing her hair, or watching a movie. Maybe taking the time to do the garden at her pleasure and leisure?
Days and days waiting for and on him, caring for the needs of others for the needs of the land, what would she be like if she could have breathed in the fresh air of freedom for a short time.
More often than not ,instead seems to win. But if instead had happened then what would have happened instead.
