Hi everyone,

My name is Miranda, 34 years young and living in The Netherlands with my boyfriend and 3 (!) scrumptiously naughty cats. The cats tend to appear out of nowhere and never leave us again so we are blessed with 3 now but that's really the limit (We said that when there were just two as well!).

Anyway ... loving Brocante Home and although I have never ever ever joined any blog before I just could not ignore this one ;-)
You do not know how much it is appreciated finding a whole web of people sharing the same interests and ideas. Amazingly enough I even found
an avatar which completely represents me. Red hair, clumsy and being chased by a bull (ashamed to say that that really happened to me and not so long ago too).

Currently I am at home full time attempting to run the household (which is something completely new to me and also scares me on a daily basis) and trying to set up my own webshop selling brocante/everything old and vintage as long as it is robust and not so 'perfect' anymore.

Well, Hope to share many thoughts, ideas and mostly laughter with all of you!

Welcome Miranda, I'm from Florida, USA. This is one of the things I love about this site, we are from all over the place.....and by the way please share the story about the bull, love to hear it.

This forum of ladies from all over reminds me of one big house full of different personalities that blend the same type of thoughts, varying ideas, and care. And this has been fun sharing thoughts through all of our lives with the ups and downs we go through...welcome we hope you will love it.

Miranda...I am in the UK so not a million miles away from you. Are you new to living in Holland or is it your native country? I love that you have 3 cats....I love cats too although presently we do not have one of our own.

I wish you every success with your vintage website and I'm pretty sure you will enjoy being a part of Brocante forums. As Barb has said, we 're from all over the planet but we're all good at sharing our lives, the good and the not so nice. Welcome aboard, Miranda.
