Just remember sizes ran smaller then, so you may have to adjust your pattern somewhat. But if you're brave enough to sew it, you probably already know that. Hope you take photos when it's done so we can see it! |

And actually, I think the style is bang up to date - everything is cinched in waists with belts and more taylored styles for the spring you know - and not to mention yours will be all bespoke and unique! |

That's why I picked out one that came in a larger size. It's easier to tailor it smaller than to piecemeal it to a larger fit. Let's hope it works out ok. I'll have to do a muslin version of it first to make sure I understand how it's supposed to come together then I'll work on with better materials. |
