Possible vintage housekeeper swap?!

Hi all!! I was talking to a few fellow housekeepers in the live chat today, and think it would be a great idea to organize some sort of vintage swap. Now I don't know how to organize such a thing, but I think it would be really fun! Anybody up for such a thing, or have any item ideas? So far we've come up with vintage hankies, ephemera, vintage bookmarks, pretty old teacups, handmade items made with vintage materials...any ideas out there? Maybe a theme..something vintage and pink, or vintage and yellow..I don't know. Something that would be economical to ship...Please post!

Being one of those fellow homemakers from the chat box - you know I'm interested any time! I've participated in quite a few swaps in the past couple of years and they are very fun. Swapbot.com might be an easy solution for us if a lot of people are interested in the swap.

Yes, definitely with guidance! I don't know how to go about this, but Alison said it's quite simple and she would post something in the chronicles when we decide what we want to do...

Possible items: aprons, teacups, ephemera, vintage bookmarks, vintage hankies, something handmade with vintage materials...maybe an antique skeleton key would be nice, too.

Alison, can you help organize? Perhaps the people listed above can list which item they'd like the most, and whoever gets that person as a swap partner can just send that particular item. Or maybe we should just take a vote on the item..like I said, I don't actually know!

I haven't been on for a few days so I just wanted to say that I am still in for the swap!

I was wondering if there will be a profile made/sent out....just to get an idea on what the other person's personality is like. Just wondering...like I said earlier...this is my first swap.
