My Obsessions...

I usually have a very short attention span when it comes to obsessions - it´s very intense for a while, and then I get tired of them. Some re-appear after a while, and other is never to bee seen. Vintage is a re-occuring obsession, I collect pressed glass, mercury glass, 40s-50s housekeeping and kitchen stuff (I´m collecting a series of books called "Husmoderns köksalmanack" (the housewife´s kitchen calendar), which has been out every year since the 20s or 30s - they still publish it every year!)... I have had quite a long love affair with all things Japanese and cute, and have a collection of Jap stationary and lunch boxes (bentos - really pretty ones!). Fibers of all kinds is forever a weakness, so I have some yarn (I don´t have a huge stash like some, I only keep the yarn that is given to me, the rest I use) and a big pile of knitting books. And don´t get me started on books... I like to accompany my obsessions with litterature, so I have books on interior decoration, fashion, Japanese crafts, Christmas... And now there´s a growing section on vintage housekeeping as well! And I´ve actually discovered the fun in cleaning products, so now I buy them to the extent you might call it an obsession - cursed those vintage housekeepers!
