i went to a rummage sale and saw the corner of this quilt sticking out of the trash!! i asked the ladies if it was to be thrown out and they said " yes, it has a square thats bad" and they threw it out!! they were older, and maybe they just thought no one would want it.. but i did!!!

Tsk Tsk...some people....It's nice...It looks a little frayed around the edges..but I don't think it looks that bad.

well right now its so hot here and my 4 yr old has been sleeping with it.. i washed it 1st!!! when i said "trash" i meant a bin of fabric kind of trash, not actaul garbage LOL
im very good about really cleaning up items before they come inside the household. the blanket is cool at night on his skin! i guess ill let him use it a while. i can imagine the person who worked on it wiould be happy to know a child is using it again! i wonder how old the person is now that 1st used the quilt???

its really durable too!! my son drags it around and lays on it. after hes done with it, ill hang it on my quilt rack.
