| Ok, I have succumbed - albeit in a very small way - to the new Cath Kidston Spring range! I am awaiting arrival of some very pretty rubber gloves, and some flowery dusters! Picture me looking all Dame Edna as I spring clean.... I have also bought my sister a flowery keyring to match her Cath Kidston design mobile phone (beyond cute!!) for putting my car keys on to give to her when I give her my car! I am so excited, it is silly!
I also saw in my local paper that one of my fail safe, never-leave-without-a-unique-bargain-find shops, TK Maxx in Cambridge, is no more (boo hiss). Don't know why, or if it might have re-located, but in it's place is a much bigger store called 'Home Store and More' which is advertising the fact that it sells, amongst other things, half price Cath Kidston stuff! (hooray!!!). So I feel it is my duty to go and investigate....!
I'm now wishing I'd also ordered one of the beach basket/bags I liked as well.... doh! |

| Now you've gotten my curiosity up so I had a browse around the UK site because the US site is under construction. I LOVE Cath Kidston but can't afford the shipping from the UK site to the US, so I just sit and admire from afar. LOL
We have TJ Maxx stores here as well and that's one of my favorite places to shop, especially for gifts and swap items. |

| I always find what feels like a real treasure find in there, especially for the home (I simply do NOT have the patience to trawl through the many rails of clothes I'm afraid, though I know many who have found a designer bargain there) and it always gives me a little buzz, as you know no-one else will have something the same (or for the amazing price!). I got the most amazing dark green and red silk embroidered and appliqued Christmas cushions from TK Maxx this last Xmas, complete with feather filled pad inside, for just £7.99 each!! They look like they would have been about £35 each from Laura Ashley or somewhere!
I do hope they have simply re-located and not gone completely. Although, this new place might be even better! I will report back after reconnaiscance.......!! |

| I also noticed on the Cath Kidston brochure that their mail order depot address is only up the road from here, and the same village where my brother lives!! My Miss Marple instincts wonder if they maybe have a little factory outlet there...... sale items or seconds maybe???? Will have to investigate that too....
I hope they finish the US site soon Karla - then you can shop to your hearts content too I assume?!
I have to admit to cheating half the time myself though, and buying things that are 'Cath Kidston-esque' as seems to be de rigeur at the moment! |

| Half price CK? Have they anything good? Is it from discontinued products? Let us know what you find. I really like some of the CK line but find it a bit pricey. _________________ Bloomin' Lovely Blog Pumpkins on the Vine |
