I agree that would help to know when someone talks about time, we can keep it straight. I wonder if there is some fancy time calculating button that tells us all the times in other countries. Just thinking out loud here. Iknow when dh travels to Japan, I have a world clock on my PDA that tells us what time it is where Daddy is. (We are in Texas)

Good idea Angie. Most forums has the members location under/next to their screen names.

I agree with you Kim. By my first few post, one would be able to see that I was rather confused by the time difference.

I am going on a tangent here...but why is no one talking in the chat box? When I first saw it I thought it was a cool thing to have here..but no one is ever logged in.

What chat box? I go to the home page and hit "view posts since last visit" I don't see a chat box there.

Kim, on the home page scroll all the way down below the posts where the chat box is. Click on "log in" on the right hand side. Then you can type your live message right into the message box in the lower right hand corner.

My suggestion today is maybe the chat box could be moved from the bottom of the home page to the top. That way more ladies will be active in it since it will be the first thing that they see. Just a thought!

OH, Alison, Alison. I ABSOLUTELY agree with everyone! Your pages have been a joy to read, although I do find I get the screen rather smeary if creaming the ingredients for a sponge layer TOO close to it. Yes! Keep it coming! And PLEASE DO tell me where I can find some 1950s images just like the ones here. I am making a scrapbook in my spare minute, and I NEED some photos of scrummy 1950s homemakers. Help! Can anyone else type whilst ironing?

I just love it here. I am still looking at everything, haven't really absorbed all of it yet. But so far I really enjoy everything I see.

Other than that, I can't really think of anything else to add or change. I find it a bit a heaven when I have time to browse around here. It seems very busy, very full of info ~ I haven't really looked and read everything yet....

I love the feel of it here. I love all the pictures and backgrounds...even these white polkadots on the red background....it's just such a picturesque and enjoyable place to be. Thank you so much for making it that.

I just love this blog...I work alone, all day from home. So-checking in on BrocanteLand always feels like stopping in for tea at a good friend's home. It is a friendly, warm site, and I love how forthcoming you are with details about your life.

LOVE the puttery treat lists. I maybe don't always enjoy the book/poetry excerpts as much. They're lovely, actually-but what I like so much about the blog is your unique voice. I'd also love to see more photos from your personal life. For example, when you buy some silly embroidered tea towel or little rose-covered butter dish, I'd be thrilled to see a photo of it. Maybe that's silly, but I'm obsessed with little frippery details.
