| If you like to cook or not go to this website
http://www.thepioneerwomancooks.com/ u.s...
She has some great recipes with basic ingredients and step by step pictures. And also has a great sense of humor. I hope you enjoy like I have. If you are dieting then forget this website altogether. |

| | Barbara - I'm not sure why i've never thought to share Ree's site before. LOL I am an avid reader of hers, especially lives in the same state as me! I've made several of her dishes and have loved all of them! I want to make the maple cinnamon rolls. Have you made those yet Barbara? |

| No I haven't made the cinnamon rolls yet but I plan to eventually. I have made the lasagna and everyone loved it. I usually am not a very good cook, but I can bake the knobs off the stove.... Last year I had a housewarming /birthday party for myself and my theme was cinnamon rolls. I haven't been too excited over them since or until I saw hers. Wish I would have seen them sooner. I'm so glad to hear that someone else is a fan of hers. Thanks for sharing this. |

| Thats a fantastic site. She's got a wonderful sense of humour. I'll have to troll through the recipes and see what I want to borrow.
And to think yesterday I saw a program that told you how to become a size 0 in six weeks!
Edit: holy cow, check her blog out too. Where does she find the time to do all this? Cows, chickens, children and cowboys running amuck in her life! _________________ Bloomin' Lovely Blog Pumpkins on the Vine |

| I know!!! Four kids, a vegetable patch, animals, cowboys (??!!) and photo's that are obviously semi-professional, of all the recipes!! And that site didn't get bumbled together overnight - it's a visual feast....
How many hours are there in a day in her world??!! I love, love LOVE her sense of humour! |

| On her personal blog, go back to the first entry in the archives. May 2006 I think it is. Interesting read how she went from pedicured, sushi eating City girl to diaper changing, cow poo scraping country wife. Its funny.
And yes, her photography is professional level. Just look at the action shots for proof of that. I love the photos of her kids and the men working. Reminds of another era and a lifestyle thats disappearing. Which is very sad. _________________ Bloomin' Lovely Blog Pumpkins on the Vine |

You've made my day, providing the link to the site. Thank you so much, Barbara.

| NO-ONE should ever be a size zero Ouissi - unless you were a 7 year old malnourished child - seriously. How on earth do these things start? It's frightening.
Still, we won't dwell on that - there are recipes for yummy stuff to be eaten, and most importantly - ENJOYED!! |

| Ali -
Her husband's family owns a 20,000 acre (used to be 100,000 acre) ranch here in Oklahoma. They own like 8,000 cattle. The family has been ranching on that land since 1887, before Oklahoma was even a state. They are very well known and like any well-known family with money, they do have some controversy that surrounds them.
But in any case, I seriously doubt she does it all on her own. Their ranch is big enough that I would be surprised if she doesn't at least have a housekeeper.
She doesn't show herself much on her blog, so if you're interested, here is an article done in one of the two large Oklahoma papers. |

When I was a size 0 (UK, not US) it was what is now measured as a size 8...if you look at the measurements of the size 8 clothes I still own from when I was 17 and compare them to the sizes now it is stupid how much sizes have changed...then an 8 had a 22-23 inch waist, but now a size 8 is a 26-27 inch...
15 years ago, when I was a 17 year old skinny model, size 0 didn't exist...because it just couldn't have...take 2 inches for every size off a 22 inch waisted size 8 and you get a 14 inches for what would have been a size 0 then...now that is impossible!!
but, no, it is still too skinny...the scary thing for me at least is that I was a size 4 (I had a 23 inch waist agian at 30...I am 5' 8") when I moved in with my boyfriend 2 years ago...and people, mainly my mum, still tell me I need to get back to that weight after the baby...
I am actually loving the way that now my body is doing what it is supposed to!!! I am hoping I never feel the need to get that skinny again...
And just think, I am a psychologist that has in the past, specialised in eating disorders!! I wonder why... _________________ Ouissi x http://ajournalofdreams.blogspot.com
