Today I picked up two small Easter eggs for Kevan and I. I've popped them in the fridge for now. Only 16 days to! Do you think we'll keep out of them til then?

I also got a small package of Easter cards to mail out to family. I think I'm the only person I know who still sends cards at Easter. Nice though to send to family who are so far away in Canada.

Our fifth anniversary is the 29th and I found the perfect card for my darling husband. It was almost like it was custom written for me to give to him.

The customised notepads, sticky notes and business cards I ordered for my little aromatherapy business came today too. So thats my scrumptious day!

I know that Easter eggs wouldn't last that long in the fridge in our house - but it wouldn't be me pinching them! It would be my - aherm - diabetic husband would you believe?! I can take or leave chocolate really, but the cruel irony is that my husband has the sweetest tooth of anyone I have EVER met in my life, but has been diabetic since he was 7 years old. I have to hide anything like that in the lead up to Easter, or Christmas or whatever!

I have got some 'Easter Bunny' (he comes every year - aren't we lucky?!) egg hunt treats hidden in the garage, and we saw the cutest little hand knitted duck with a Cadbury's cream egg hidden inside for sale on the counter in our local farm shop, which raises money for a local hospice, so I bought that for my daughter. It is currently residing on the shelf in the kitchen, looking all cute, and I don't think my husband has realised what's inside it!

And Ali, I send easter cards! Not to everyone admittedly, but to the more, shall we say, senior and traditional people I know who appreciate it still as a religious festival. Not that I do I'm afraid, but it's nice to acknowledge it for those that do I think - and I love sending pretty cards anyway, especially, as you say, to people further away.

I eat chocolate daily too. I think as long as it's in moderation it's fine.

Ali- indeed, as my definition of moderation is simply not eating the entire bag in one sitting. LOL

I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but I have heard it said - scientifically - that it is only very good quality (ie: higher than 70% cocoa) dark chocolate that has any real health benefits, but that actually just 2 squares a day can make a person up to 50% happier!! Something to do with releasing endorphins in the brain. Lowers blood pressure too apparently. So if it's the Green & Blacks dark you're munching on daily - fill your boots as they say!

Has anyone been watching that Willie's Wonky Chocolate Factory on Sunday nights?!

I saw it. Buddy is a tad nuts isn't he? Nuts in a nice way I think. I admire his wife's fortitude and belief in his nuttyness. Damned if if you could convince me to put every pennywe had into, and spend eight years living in the wilds of South America in the hopes that it would eventually result in a superior cocoa that you might be able to make a profit selling back here.

I don't know about the so-called health benefits of chocolate, but the higher the concentration of cocoa, the less of the chocolate you need to satisfy your sweet craving. You'll notice with the very rich choc that you can only eat a piece or two.

I think too Ali that good dark choc has less of the other stuff in that's not so good for us, like loads of sugar and fat etc that, say, a Mars bar would have, that would therefore outweigh the good the cocoa might do.

I think he's nuts in a good way too - and yes, what a wife?!! I suspect they were never on the bread line back home, even having invested 'everything' into this dream, which may have cast another slant on your ability as a wife and mother to happily support the process and drag your kids half way round the world don't you think? Setting aside the things that I know I would worry about: cleanliness, dangerous insects, food etc etc - what a marvellously eclectic lifestyle those children will have, full of experiences and people they will remember forever! It's very interesting - he's very engaging to watch isn't he? I hope they succeed (and I'm sure the big fat fee from Channel 4 for this programme will help!).

My fave choc is galaxy, I just love that, and I have to say, I can get through a bag in one sitting! I was going to watch that choc factory, but it is on at the same time as something John and I watch together, never mind.

I love dark chocolate...I'm not sure if Willie is totally sane...I love the way they have no money yet live in a huge house...even if it is rented

Its repeated on sat night I think...

...do you know that if the EU has its way cadburys and other British chocolate will have to call itself "chocolate flavoured candy"?? Our chocolate falls well short of what chocolate should be...hardly any cocoa butter or solids in a bar of dairy milk....
