| | Sounds like you've got it all under control. I was thinking that I need to make a weekly list for myself so that I'm a bit more organised instead of doing a little here and a little there. Enjoy your day. |

| I really do not! We are in the midst of getting the walls in the living room, kitchen, and hall ready to paint and it all looks so bare & ugly....it's so hard to feel inspired to clean. But I'm giving it a go anyways. _________________ ~Tracy in Alabama Visit my blog: http://seasideenchantment.blogspot.com/ |

| Tracy, it will be so lovely when it's all freshened up with fresh paint. That is something we are desperate to do in our flat too. These retirement projects are mounting up....roll on time to do them!
Enjoy your home and the routine you've carved out for yourself.

| My duty tomorrow is to come up with a chore list for the girls. They have become a bit lazy and ungrateful lately, since they've started getting a monthly stipend for allowance. We've been more than generous and they aren't holding their weight around here. So that is about to change. Now they will have to satisfactorily do their daily and weekly chores in order to receive their stipend.
I think I overthink things because I'm struggling to know what to give them and what to "make" them do. But I have a rough chart done out on paper that I will try and print up tomorrow. Not sure why I have to make everything so complicated. |

| Karla...it is challenging raising young kids, isn't it?!!! I can try to answer your question about why you make things so complicated.....
I believe it is because you want to make things run smoothly for yourself and your family and if by discussion that can't happen for you all, then a "job list" printed out is a perfectly sensible option. Good on you for taking action on this and not letting it ride you and make family life intollerable. I admire you for that.
Now, could I just approach my 30 yr. old son in the same way....a "job list" or no dinner, no washing of his clothes, no rides in our car to meetings/functions when he has no transport.....oh the temptation!! (lol)
And then there's hubby....oh my goodness....this could be fun! A "job list" for hubby.....that puts a smile on my face this morning.
