April Mission List

My mission for April is to get the filing cabinet settled into an easily usable system. It's sort of mismatched and I had started a system that I didn't get very far on due to lots of distractions. It's time to get going and get it into action. I'm tired of not being able to find things!

My mission for this week is to clear a working space in my sitting-room. The table and shelves are currently being used as a store-room in one corner; about a quarter of the room is really prettily usable; half is untidy chaos and one-quarter is packed with boxes of unsorted Stuff. Guess which area has the big table and shelves? Correct...

I seem to have six very big boxes of fabric doing nothing. Should I date the boxes and if I haven't made the garment in six months' time, give it away, no matter how much I loved the fabric? After all, if I haven't converted fabric into garment in six months, then I can't love it as much as I think, can I?

I've cleared the working space successfully, hurrah!

But I've still got all this fabric... argh... where does it all come from? Does it breed?! I'm sure I never bought this much fabric only to leave it lying ignored and unused... did I?
