My husband works full time in security and law enforcement and is also a student and a writer. Ok what am I supposed to do with this troublesome dog of mine? The other night he got skunked for the 4th time. After dousing him with skunk odor remover, I bathed him nice and clean the next day. Thursday night I let him out into the backyard for potty time and he picks a fight with God knows what kind of animal it was...I feared it was a skunk but must've been a racoon...Heard it growling fiercely! Then feared that my dog would contract rabies....Decided to take him out on a leash in the front ...

Why is my loving husband on a mission to clutter our house? He brings home everything anyone gives him. He always "knows someone who can use it" but those people never get it because it ends up living in our house forever! I wish he could learn to say "no"

We live in a teeny cottage style home. It's 1 bedroom, the studio, one bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining nook. That's it. No garage, no basement so anything he brings home that does not have a space never gets ...

Today is going to be a really busy day, and would you believe it, I feel awful, my cramp is killing and I just want to go back to bed and stay there all day, but I cant, so I have taken some paracetamol and codene tablets which will hopefully kick in soon.

I have to quickly to do the housework, get ready, then John and I have to dash out to get the groceries, dash back home as a friend from the camera club is coming as he wants John to learn him how to use his camera, then John is going on ...

I am so tired, I have woke up with my head feeling really heavy, I would sleep all day given the chance. It is quite warm today, though very cloudy.

We did not go to the hospital yesterday, as no sooner did our friend show up that they sent him home again (he has not been discharged, he is on home leave), the doctor told him they are not going to operate as there is a high mortality rate with those operations, so I dont know how their going to make him better, now their saying their not ...

At last it is Saturday, a day to relax and be happy. It is not raining yet, but it is looking gloomy and more clouds are coming over, so it will probably rain. It poured down all day yesterday. Torrential rain and thunder, it was wonderful to watch and so cosy.

We had a great day yesterday, I enjoyed every minute of it.

I am going to do a little housework, then John and I will be walking to Johns parents with the doggies and having our Sunday dinner there. We will stay for afew hours then walk home.

It is quite nice today, the sun is out shining, I wonder if the rain holds off today.

Raining again!

Our friend got sent home from hospital yesterday right at the time we were leaving from visiting him. He was told to go back in this morning, which he did, and he sent a text saying he has been sent home for the weekend and has to go back in on Monday. Now the doctors are saying he has an abscess on his pancreas, and the only doctor who can operate on him is on holiday until Monday, so lets hope it does not burst before his op! His wife is in hospital today getting an operation ...

We have tired it before and it is lovely, it is one of those easy peasy salads that take no time and so yummy for summery days and ideal for company coming as it is so easy to prepare.

When my mam phoned me last night she told me Red was in the vets in a critical condition. My mam had her out yesterday when she collapsed in the park, her tongue went blue and she was vomiting, my mam rushed for help and the park warden drove my mam and Red to the vets, where Red was put immediately on a drip and given other drugs, the vet told my mam she has sun stroke and may not last the night, and if she does pull through she could have brain damage or heart problems. I have awoke with a really bad back, I must of been lying funny. I started reading Henry Mayhew's London's Underworld yesterday and it is very interesting. You get a real feel for what Victorian London was like as it was wrote in the Victorian times, very interesting.
