| | At 37, I've never colored my hair, ever. But...as I'm getting ready to go to the spa day on 3/22 and it includes a hair color and cut. I think I might just let them do what they want (within reason) and see what they come up with! |

| Sadly, at 35, I have to permanently colour my hair on what is becoming a near monthly basis now (my hair grows esceptionally fast). I started getting the odd grey hair at just 16 years old - premature greying runs in our families genetics, and I seem to be the only one it effects as badly - lucky me! My brother is younger than me (30 this year) and also has grey 'streaks' but it somehow looks good on him! My sister has none at all (she's 32). In fact, if I did not colour my hair, I would be almost entirely white haired (I think - I'm not going to find out!). It's a pain to have to visit the hairdresser so often, and more than that, getting grey roots showing, but what can I do?! I'm not ready to go totally grey/white just yet!
I say go for it too Karla - go for something semi-permanent or wash out after so many washes, and what's the worse that can happen? It will always grow out! |

| I have resisted treating my hair with dyes...I am going grey gracefully! (lol) I have grey mixed with my original red hair and it seems to "blend." I think it's an "inside" issue...this colouring of hair. If it bothers you to have the grey....then it seems logical to "fix" it.
My hairdresser tells me I am fortunate at the way my hair is looking good with grey! I can live with that! My sister began going grey at the age of 16 and was totally grey by the age of 18 or 19. Thankfully, this trait has not been passed down to me in the family genes.
Go for it, Karla. Whatever makes you feel happy with "you."

| I used to dye my hair all the time so much so and for so long I had forgotten what colour my hair really was...and it is reddish amber so it acts weird to a lot of dyes but back then I was fearless!!
now I like my hair colour and dread the root touch ups if I have to dye it regularly again... _________________ Ouissi x http://ajournalofdreams.blogspot.com |
