| I am so tired, some cats outside kept me awake for ages last night with their crying and howling, I dont know what they were doing but they were making so much noise I started getting worried and was going to get up to make sure these cats were all right, but after some time, they stopped. The man and woman who live out the back to us have about 6 or more cats and 2 dogs, and the cats are always coming in our garden so they probably belonged to them. The cats crying set Scrappy off barking, and all this combined with the sweltering heat last night means I have had very little sleep, infact I have not had a decent night sleep in ages. My pillows were uncomfortable so I spent £36 on 2 feather pillows which I found even worse, so then I went and bought some cheap pillows which were alright for afew nights but are now starting to get lumpy and awful (I have no luck with pillows). Anyway, it is a glorious day, the sun is out, it is very hot, though wet as it chucked it down last night. John is going out soon, his friend who was in hospital wants to go into town, but he cant go out on his own so John is going with him and is going to get some shopping while he is out. My dad will be calling in and Johns parents are coming for dinner. When John is out I will do the housework and washing. I cant wait for tonight, when the day is over and everyone has gone home, so that John and I can snuggle on the sofa together, watch a dvd, then go to bed, and I pray I have a better nights sleep. Have a good day ladies, take care all. |

| I'm showered and ready to go out soon for my tai-chi class then will go over to my daughter's to help with a bit more packing and decluttering in preparation for their house move. I'll be looking after the two youngest children tomorrow as well. My daughter is attending the funeral of a 9 month old sibling of one of the children from the nursery her daughter attends....I'll be looking after the two youngest grandchildren while she goes to the funeral. It will be an upsetting time for the moms who are going to represent the school and to support the mom of the baby. Very sudden and tragic (meningitis).
It began sunny but it is clouding over now and the wind is getting up. It rained here heavily last night too Melanie...and I can sympathize about he cat howling. We have new neighbours and they've got two cats who are constantly doing the same. Hope it soon ceases and you get a good night's sleep.
Have a good day ladies.

| hi all,,,good grief between the rain there and here I can almost hear the sloshing as I type and read the posts.
I accomplished a number of things yesterday. Still have the floor to mop and to dust but I'm leaving those till last. I've been plowing through stuff, and I had more stuff than I thought. I had to incorporate my mom's stuff into mine...anyway things are looking better but I still have some piles to deal with.
I've stayed home for 2 days now, but I just may venture out to the grocery for a few items. Or not.
Mel I watched AGT last night, they are still sifting through the auditions..Some are hideous, some are very good. I'll keep you informed.
Take care all

| Started out nice here, but its back to the usual British Summer; wet and miserable. I got out and did some errands before the heavens opened tho.
I need a haircut something chronic. Must book that soon. _________________ Bloomin' Lovely Blog Pumpkins on the Vine |
