today it snowed. probably not as much as some of you experience in your winter but it snowed here more than it usually does in mine. I was having a lazy day in bed, reading Something More... and I looked out the window to see light snow falling... so I snuggled deeper under the vintage comforter with my frozen feet in brand new bed socks.. not vintage at all but really, who cares if they keep me warm!!
in the afternoon, I sat and cut some magazines up to play with my Soul Journal...melancholy visited today, not sure why. but once I pulled my vintage floral curtains closed, and pushed out the cold winter air, the fire burning gently warming my soul, I felt safe, warm and secure.... grateful and blessed.... (and this all comes from the inner child of a 50 year old wise woman)
